Atlantia Boosts Stake In Brazil Toll Road To 70%
ROME -(Dow Jones)- Atlantia SpA (ATL.MI), Italy’s biggest highway tolls operator, said Wednesday it raised its stake in a Brazilian motorway operator to 70%, as it targets acquisitions in high-growth Latin America.
In a statement, Atlantia said it agreed to pay 70 million Brazilian reais, or about EUR30.4 million, for a 10% stake in Triangulo do Sol.
Triangulo do Sol holds a 442-kilometer highway tolls concession in the wealthy Sao Paulo state lasting until 2021.
